Festive Monday Matinee - It's a Wonderful Life

Selly Oak Constituency Neighbourhood Network Scheme and Stirchley Open Cinema is pleased to present a classic Christmas movie from 1946 as the festive #MondayMatinee.

Join us for It’s a Wonderful Life (U).

George Bailey (James Stewart), beset with many personal problems, attempts a Christmas time suicide before an angel intercedes and shows him what his hometown would be like without him. A colorized version was released on home video in 1989.


You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks, but as part of the ticket price you’ll get a free cuppa!

Cash purchase in advance from Stirchley Baths: £3.50 or book online (£4. plus £1 transaction fee)

Stirchley Baths reception during opening times (Monday-Friday from 9.30am until 8 or 9pm (please check). To make things really easy for the reception team, please bring the exact money.

Please note, if there are not enough ticket sales in advance, this event may be cancelled. Full refunds will be given to those already booked.


Doors open 1pm, and the film will start at 1.15pm. So come and grab your seat and have a drink and chat before the film starts. No pre-reserved seating. Film ends around 3.30pm.
