This March we’re screening the inspirational true story of John Davidson. I Swear, Funny, honest and inspirational. John from Galashiels in the Scottish Borders has Tourette Syndrome, along with its tics, behaviour patterns and random obscenities.
John is a trailblazer and has worked tirelessly to educate the nation about the condition since he started with symptoms in 1989, and in 2019 he was awarded an MBE for helping people to understand the condition more and what it means to live with Tourette’s.
Robert Aramayo plays John and won Leading Actor at this years BAFTA’s for his portrayal of John trying to navigate adult life. Supported by Maxine Peake, Shirley Henderson and Peter Mullan.
